Pressure Transducer | Industrial & OEM Pressure Transducers Manufacturer | Winsen

Winsen designs and manufactures industrial and OEM pressure transducers for gases and liquids. Our portfolio covers gauge, absolute, and differential types with analog (4–20 mA, 0–10 V, 0.5–4.5 V) and digital (I²C/SPI) outputs, wide ranges from micro-pressure to 100 MPa, and robust stainless-steel construction for long service life.

Overview & Working Principle

A pressure transducer converts fluid pressure into an electrical signal. Winsen integrates a stable sensing element (piezoresistive, capacitive, or piezoelectric), temperature compensation, and signal conditioning to deliver linear, low-noise outputs that are easy to read in PLCs, microcontrollers, or data acquisition systems.

Choose gauge for pressure relative to ambient, absolute for pressure relative to vacuum, and differential for the difference between two ports. For long cable runs and industrial noise environments, 4–20 mA is preferred; for low-power or MCU designs, ratiometric or digital outputs are ideal.

    Integration & Wiring

For 4–20 mA (2-wire) loops, power with 12–36 VDC and maintain loop impedance within transmitter compliance. For 0–10 V outputs, a 12–36 VDC supply and high-impedance input (>10 kΩ) are recommended. Ratiometric 0.5–4.5 V devices should use low-noise 5 V and short sensor leads. I²C/SPI variants share digital ground with the host and need proper pull-ups and cable shielding.

    Example: 4–20 mA loop

            ├─────( + ) Pressure Transducer ( – )───── PLC AI (4–20 mA )

Exact pinout varies by connector family (M12, DIN 43650, Packard, etc.). Refer to the product datasheet.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I choose gauge vs. absolute vs. differential?

Pick gauge for line pressure relative to ambient (compressors, hydraulics). Use absolute for vacuum or barometric-sensitive measurements. Choose differential for measuring across filters, orifices, or rooms.

Can you match my connector and pinout exactly?

Yes. We support M12, DIN 43650, Packard, Deutsch, JST, and custom harnesses with pinouts to your standard, including color coding and labels.

What environmental protection levels are available?

Typical builds achieve IP65–IP67 depending on connector and cable sealing. We advise IP67 for wash-down and outdoor use.

    Do you provide calibration certificates?

We offer factory test reports for each unit and can provide calibration certificates referenced to traceable standards as part of your PPAP or documentation pack.

Can you help me replace an obsolete model from another brand?

Yes. Share the part number, electrical output, thread, and range. We will propose a compatible form-fit-function replacement or adapter kit.
